About the event
Watch for individual events and activities during our 2 week MOVE4MANA Club Challenge. Get your sporting teams, faculty and profs on board! Friendly competition for a really fantastic cause!
MOVE4MANA is a student-led initiative that educates students about malnourished children in developing countries. Students host a MOVE4MANA Challenge that inspires their peers to make a change in malnourished children's lives, while encouraging physical activity here at home.
Students then earn Active Points on the MoveSpring app, using their smart phones or via manual entries. These Active Points are then converted into Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) packets. These packets save the lives of children under the age of five suffering from Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM). Activities can be fun games, friendly contests and other creative ideas, like musical chairs or a dance-off. These activities take place during a 1 or 2 week MOVE4MANA Challenge at your school!
