Vancouver, BC - BC's inaugural MOVE4MANA event is running from February 29, 2024 to March 7th 2024! The FNH 355 Food, Nutrition and International Health Class is hosting a MOVE4MANA Challenge to get students active and bring awareness to Severe Acute Malnutrition.

The student behind the UBC event, Anahita Seraji, was introduced to MOVE4MANA 5 years ago when her BC high school hosted a one month long challenge.  The rewarding experience stuck with Anahita and she is excited to bring the concept to the UBC campus! Be sure to follow along on Instagram on @MOVE4MANAHQ as well as on the World Vision UBC Club instagram account @WVUBC.

We are thrilled to be in talks with the World Vision Club at UBC as well, to possibly launch a larger, campus wide event in 2025 as well!

Update: This initiative engaged 71 students over a one week period, earning a total of 572 packets of RUTF, saving the lives of 3 children!
