About

How does it work?

Participants get active and their actvities/steps are converted to Active Points, then converted into Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) packets. At the end of the challenge, Food for Famine Society donates the earned MANA packets produced by MANA Nutrition. These containers are then shipped from Georgia, USA, to World Vision Canada who organizes the distribution to malnourished children in the developing countries most in need.

What is RUTF?

Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) is a fortified peanut paste used to treat Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM).This life saving treatment contains the necessary vitamins and nutrients a malnourished child would need to become healthy.
