Kingston, Ontario - We are thrilled to announce the establishment of MOVE4MANA's very first university club at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario! This milestone is a testament to our non-profit's mission of educating and spreading awareness about Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) in children under the age of five. We focus on providing Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF)—a fortified peanut paste that transforms lives—to these children on the brink of death. This therapeutic food is nothing short of miraculous—three packets of RUTF a day over 5-6 weeks can completely restore a child's health.

Our MOVE4MANA initiative also aims to inspire young leaders to take action, and the Queen's University club is a shining example of this vision in action.

The club's founding member, Maya Pawley, embodies the passion and determination that drives our mission forward. Maya first encountered MOVE4MANA during her high school years in British Columbia, where her school hosted several impactful events to raise awareness and RUTF. Deeply moved by the impact of children saved by Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food, Maya carried that inspiration with her to Queen's University. Now a medical student with aspirations to become a surgeon, Maya's leadership and dedication have brought MOVE4MANA to a new audience, inspiring her peers to join the fight against child malnutrition.

By launching this new university club, Maya and her team at Queen's University are helping us extend our reach and impact. Together, we can save more lives, educate future leaders, and work toward a world where no child suffers from Severe Acute Malnutrition.

Welcome to the MOVE4MANA family, Queen's University!

Update: The Queen's University's inaugural event raised a total of 2267 packets of RUTF, saving approximately 15 children suffering from Severe Acute Malnutrition.
